Rigid Metal Hits and Movements

A modular collection with unique sounds of rigid metal objects

In this library, you get a vast collection of rigid metal sounds to use as Foley, user interface elements, pinball sounds, or layer them to create your designs.

We made this collection with one mission, to capture the distinctive sound of rigid metal objects, and we succeeded (so we danced a little and drank wine).

You see, this is a serious matter, the use of refined metals began with the use of copper about 11.000 years ago, and their unique characteristics and durability made them present in nearly all aspects of modern life.

How awesome is metal? \m/

The sounds of rigid metal are very musical too, so you also use them inside your sampler for unique tonal sounds in your music. Put the metal to the MIDI pedal!

Content Details

Metallic objects have a variety of sounds they produce, and different actions wildly affect the result.

Our mission when we organized this collection was to make it easy to find the sounds you need. So we took extra care to create the filenames of this collection in such a way that it allows all files to be in the same flat folder structure.

At the same time, it’s easy to find the sound you need and by the second time you use this library, its organization will become second nature.

Each file contains the object and the action in the filename. Different types of the same event are denoted with capital letters in alphabetical order, and each type’s variations are enumerated with a two-digit incremental number.
