This is the most comprehensive collection of board and card game sounds in the world. This library contains sounds from any type, object, and material found in board and card games.

Because every board game, physical, digital, or both together, is different in its way, we designed this collection in a very modular way to allow you the highest flexibility in combining the actions and materials that perfectly fit your project's aesthetics.

We include all classic board game materials, assets, and common actions, plus some more luxurious ones (crystal pawns anyone?), make your board or card game classic or unique, it's up to you.

Content Details

The combination of objects and materials at board games and card games is vast. So we took a modular approach by first analyzing which part played the dominant resonant role in each action scenario (move a piece, throw a die, etc.), and that way we categorized the materials, so they are intuitive to find and select for use.

Then we found out that there are four main kinds of objects: cards, chips, pieces, and dice.

The material of a chip-type object plays the dominant role in the material the listener perceives and not the surface that it hits.

In pieces it’s the other way around, the piece’s material is not significant to the material of the resulted sound when it collides with a surface, the surface (or board, or table) defines the timbre.

Cards and dice are more generic and recorded in their most commonly used material combination so that they are open with many different aesthetics.
