Real Buttons, Knobs, and Switches

A sound library of physical user interface hardware elements

This is a collection of Foley sounds from various hardware elements of physical user interfaces.

As the title says we have here a comprehensive library of sampled sounds of buttons, knobs, and switches of any kind from everyday objects we find around us, like audio amplifiers, camera tripods, phones, electric pianos, ovens, camera parts, flashlights, elevators, hard drives, bicycles, boilers, and more.

This collection is ideal if you are creating a project that contains the handling of equipment, a lot of switching boards, or realistic graphical user interfaces. Classic examples are adventure games, vehicle simulators, sci-fi movies, or even mobile apps that represent physical interfaces for training or entertainment.

As always we include many types for each kind of sound and many variations for each type, to provide enough variety for you to pick the best fit for your aesthetics and enough variations for realistic natural sound.

Content Details

Use the various micro-sounds of this library to combine them into more complicated and custom interface elements or sounds of hardware objects moving and operating.

And why restrict your creativity to those kinds of events only?

With so many perfectly isolated hardware interface sounds you can create unique sound effects for contemporary weapons or their auxiliary equipment, strange contraptions, intricate machines and robots, and more.

Finally, as hardware user interface elements, in general, feature an abrupt sound and have very percussive and natural musical qualities, this collection can be the perfect way for music producers to create their signature sound in their favorite sampler, looper, or drum machine.
